McBey Model Makers are unique in that we employ people on a freelance basis only. Our freelance database is constantly growing.

This enables us to expand and contract the company depending on our workload, type of work and locations.

This in turn keeps our overheads, and as a result the prices we charge our clients, to a minimum.

We have always had good experiences with freelancers and feel they work hard and conscientiously. They are constantly working to improve their abilities and bring with them, new skills and experiences from working with different companies in different fields. Something we can all only benefit from.

Experience is the main criteria for working with us. We don't ask for degrees or qualifications, just a proven ability to perform the tasks we require of you to a high standard. This is normally in the form of a portfolio and/or references with a minimum of 10 years experience. Your skills are what we want.

Contractors are expected to be capable of working on their own and as part of a team. This can be in the UK and abroad.

McBey Model Makers enjoy working with local people and welcome applicants worldwide, as our work is often in countries other than the UK. Non UK residents will be held on record and contacted when work is available in their region. A UK member of the team will always be present on-site.
