McBey Model Makers have a unique way of operating compared with traditional model making companies.

We are a very flexible company and our locations change according to our workload.

Workshops can be established almost anywhere in the UK or Internationally and we decide, along with our clients, which is the most cost effective way of achieving the quality of work in the given timescales.

Very often the most effective way forward is to build at our workshops in York or West London and to install on-site but this is not always the case. If we feel it is best to establish a local workshop with key UK personnel and a local workforce then that is what we will suggest. This can save our clients money and ensure that local people benefit from the work. Our clients enjoy visiting our workshops to check on progress and a local workshop allows them to do this with ease. It also enables us to be in constant contact with not only the clients but also the designers and engineers. With email and internet access the world is a much smaller place but there is no substitute for direct contact and discussion.

McBey Model Makers have on several occasions worked within our clients' premises giving us direct access to key staff members and resources. This is particularly beneficial within the oil & gas industries when we are working on technical engineering models.
